Opportunity for our fifth graders going to Palermo Middle School next year!

Club Live is a youth led leadership program that is offered at our local junior high schools across Butte County. Club Live meetings are held once a week on the school campuses during lunch and are led by the youth Officers (who we are currently recruiting with this application). At these meetings students learn the tools and skills to create, plan and implement different projects on their campus designed to increase positive peer relationships and reduce bullying and isolation. Students who are a part of the Club Live program have the opportunity to actively take a role in creating the kind of school they want to attend. Students who participate have an opportunity to build leadership skills, develop positive relationships, and make a positive impact on their school/community. Students who apply and are accepted into the officer role get an additional benefit of being able to take part in trainings over the summer to give them the added tools and skills to take a leadership role in the club. If you are interested in hearing more about the Club Live program or have any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact Julia Arenas, the Palermo Club Live Coordinator, at jarenas@buttecounty.net
